Great staff with a large assortment of items to choose from to express your creativity. Prices were more reasonable than I expected, especially with everything included in the price. My piece was cured within a few days and turned out even better than I thought it would considering I'm not much of an artist. Had a blast doing it and will definitely be back!
We visited the clay corner studio while on a girls' getaway to Wausau. We did some research online and this place looked like a lot of fun. There was 3 of us and for us all to paint and have a latte was about $150. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have many options to pick from.
It's also a fun and open environment. Colorful and immaculate. I will definitely be going back if I find myself in Wausau again.

Its a fun craft place to paint clay pieces they have pre made , or make your own.
Sometimes the place is packed, could use a bigger building.
Once your piece is painted. It takes around a week to get back - could be quicker , could be longer, depends how busy it is.
It has been a long time since I have gone to Clay Corners and have always gone to the one in Steven's Point. I'm shocked how big it is and the options from pottery and painting a canvas. Canvases have stencil options and recommended colors to mix to make the pattern you desire. However you can defer from it as it is your art. 😉 …
Went in to this studio solo with my teething toddler and guarded hopes. Not too surprisingly, it was melt down after meltdown. The staff was amazingly kind - offering help, toys, encouragement and most importantly empathy. It about brought me to tears. Thank you for helping a tired mom who is trying her best and having a truly kid friendly environment!
This was such a fun activity to do with my son! Quality time, creativity, and a fun souvenir made for a top notch date!
We had fun painting and staff were friendly. They were willing to ship our artwork to us since we live out of the area. I emailed to ask about shipping in advance and they were very responsive.

Everyone that works there are so kind and extremely helpful. I'll drive from Stillwater, Minnesota just to go to Clay Corner. I have yet to find a place near me that compares to Clay Corner!
Marti was our instructor for a custom canvas painting outing for our family that ranged from age 13-89. Marti was very engaging, and patient and gave clear instructions throughout. Even given a power outage due to a storm the previous day, we were able to have an enjoyable and memorable day. Everyone loved it!
